A sneak peak at the wonderful Ouvert Magazine, Issue 1 that I had the pleasure of designing a few weeks ago.

Ouvert is an indépendant fashion magazine which focuses on affordable and attainable high end fashion and will hopefully be available online in the near future.

Bags galore!

Accessories are our guilty pleasure (plus shoes and chocolate and few more things…). If your like us and have a twinkle in your eye every time you see beautiful bags, you won’t feel so guilty when you have convinced yourself to buy your lust worthy gem!

These lovlies came in at under £40, The top image is an Edina Ronay, faux pony fur and ostrich leather bag from TKmaxx - £40. Now we know that is still quite pricey but when you think about the retail price of £199, £40 doesn’t seem so bad…plus it’s sooooo beautiful.

Bottom left is a vintage lizard skin bag. We know. Amazing. This is the cheapest of our bags, coming in at £4.

The Red Coats

Give yourself a pick-me-up during the gloomy winter months and sport a vibrant red coat. If you’re not quite ready for the colour that packs a punch, go for a more subdued shade of wine like the one in our photographs.

This coat was found at a charity shop for £10. Add a vintage or faux stole for added warmth and grandeur.

Don’t be afraid to mix up textures and patterns, but remember always work around something solid! For example, for this look, we have chosen a subtle tartan that isn’t too bold,(tesco F+F £20) a soft mint green floral shirt (Jaeger £5) which oozes comfort and style (If we were to use two patterns that were bold, this look wouldn’t work). To top it off we have chosen a vintage rabbit fur cape! Luxury!

When boys get trendy..

Top photo, Jodhpurs with braces -£15! H&M Sale, worn with long sleeve thermal, super dry shirt jumper- Charity shop find, £5 with tags! The cap really tops this look off giving a old school gentleman’s club vibe- Peacocks £3.50

Bottom images: We really love this look, lots of bold statement pieces but working so well together. Penny farthing shirt was £25 from TKmaxx which is fab considering it retails at £95! Dogtooth trousers were £10 from Primark…yes really! Real leather, tan brogues from matalan- £35. Gloves £5 from primark. Who says you have to spend loads of money to look great?!
